A logistics unicorn’s dispatch platform relied on static rule-based routing that couldn’t react to real-time customs holds, weather delays, or carrier capacity shifts — dispatchers manually re-routed thousands of shipments per week.
What we built
An MCP-enabled agentic layer on top of the existing SaaS platform: autonomous bidding agents negotiate rates and capacity across 12,000 carrier APIs in real time, with a routing-optimization agent continuously re-planning around customs friction and weather without human dispatchers in the loop.
Outcome
Customs hold time dropped 72%, the platform now executes 4.2M autonomous routing decisions, and net margin improved 18.4% — turning a static SaaS dashboard into a proactive agentic system.
